What does Teach For India do?

Teach For India recruits outstanding university graduates as fellows – and places them in full-time positions in under-resourced schools for two years. Teach For India aims to bring India’s best brains to work in the education sector – to help improve India’s schools that need the most help.

“As a School Principal, what really guides me and my work is the vision that each child will be an educated, empowered individual capable of taking informed decisions independently, the belief that each child can and will achieve and the commitment that I will do whatever it takes to ensure that the vision turns to reality.”
