Roger Hargreaves

Although we have classified Roger Hargreaves’ books like the Little Miss Stubborn under Young Reader : Picture Story Books, the story will be appreciated as much by an adult as by the young reader. His books are the perfect examples of ‘Picture story books’ as we call it. With one side having the text and the opposite page with the picture to go with the text, it is a great way of taking readers of different comprehension levels along with you while you go ahead with the story. And with names like Little Miss Scatterbrain, Little Miss Helpful, the stories and the characters are as self-explanatory as they can get, without ever getting boring.
